BENS Hope Bracelets with Hopeline
When you text 741741, a live trained Crisis Counselor receives and responds to text offering support for any painful emotional experience. During BENS Hope presentations we provide silicone bracelets to students to aid in suicide awareness/prevention. However, this Hopeline is available for ANY type of crisis with 24/7 support including COVID, anxiety, emotional abuse, depression, suicide, school stress, etc.

Survivors of Support (SOS) Support Group
SOS will resume meetings virtually. Meetings will be held the 2nd Tuesday of each month 6:30 – 8 PM. Look for more information on BENS Hope Facebook page on how to register through Eventbrite to participate.
GriefShare Support Group

GriefShare offers support for people who are grieving the death of someone close to them. It features Biblical teachings on grief and recovery. Sessions are offered in the spring and fall at the Community Evangelical Free Church located at 300 Pioneer Rd. East, Platteville, WI and run 13 weeks. For more information call the church office at (608) 348-7330. *Update – the fall session started September 16 and runs through Dec 9. Community E is holding these GriefShare sessions virtually via Zoom Wednesday nights from 6:30 – 8 pm. There is open enrollment so people can join at any point and make up anything they missed so far in the next session.
